Pet Portrait Commissions

🎨 Capture Your Pet's Essence in Timeless Oils

When it comes to richness of color and enduring portraits, nothing quite compares to the timeless medium of oils. Let me bring your beloved pet to life on canvas with depth and vibrancy that will stand the test of time.

Commissioning a pet portrait is a breeze! Simply reach out to me via email, Facebook/Instagram Messenger, or by filling out the form at the bottom of this page. Share your requirements, and I'll handle the rest.

Completion times for each piece vary based on size and complexity, typically ranging from 4 to 6 weeks from inception to shipment. Payment plans are available upon request, with the full amount due before work begins.

My portrait style focuses on the head and shoulders view, while full body portraits are quoted after reviewing your desired reference photo.

Once payment is received in full, I'll initiate the shipping process. Your painting will be meticulously packed to ensure it arrives in perfect condition, with tracked delivery available worldwide.

I eagerly anticipate your reaction upon receiving your portrait, and I'm excited to hear how it brings joy and warmth to your home.

SECURING YOUR BOOKING

To secure your commission slot and begin work on your pet portrait, a non-refundable booking fee of 30% is required. This fee ensures your commitment to the project and reserves your place in my schedule. The remaining balance will be due upon completion and your satisfaction with the final result.

Please note that booking fees are non-refundable, except in the unfortunate event of a portrait cancellation initiated by me. In such cases, the booking fee will be refunded in full.

Once the booking fee is paid, your commission slot is secured for my next available date. I highly recommend booking as early as possible to avoid disappointment, as my schedule fills up quickly.

Delivery

For clients within the UK, postage via Tracked and Signed for delivery is included in the price of your portrait commission. This ensures the safe and secure transit of your artwork to your doorstep.

For international clients, an additional shipping fee of approximately £80 will apply. Please inform me if you require international delivery, and I will include this cost in your quote.

Alternatively, if you're local or prefer to collect your portrait in person, arrangements can be made for local delivery or collection.

Shipping is coordinated after the final payment has been received and a couple of weeks from the completion of the artwork. This allows for any necessary finishing touches and ensures that your portrait is prepared for shipment in pristine condition.

Want to know how to get a great reference photo click here . I ask for good quality, clear photographs (digital preferred but happy to work with hard copies). I ask for a few photos of each pet to allow me to get a good feel for their personality, colours and markings. I’m happy to work with poorer quality images if absolutely necessary, but please be aware that I won’t be able to create highly detailed portraits from unclear photos.
